DX initiatives

To achieve Vision 2035, “Contributing to the world through HaCoB”, we will promote various reforms that make use of digital technologies.

  • In response to rapid changes in the automotive industry and shifts in customer values, we aim to create new business models by leveraging digital technologies to connect monozukuri and the creation of experiences.

  • We will further strengthen our monozukuri business by advancing the use of digital technologies that make every aspect of work easier for people, and by integrating these technologies with TPS(*1).

DX strategy

To achieve Vision 2035: Contributing to the world through HaCoB, we have defined three key target transformations and four digitalization policies. Even as we value the mindset each and every one of us must maintain, we will continue to pursue DX initiatives driven by both top management leadership and the ability of employees to improve under the slogan “Digital Technology Connected by All” to bring together Toyota Auto Body employees, customers around the world, and the future.

DX promotion framework

  • To deliver greater value to our customers, our Digital Strategy Committee consisting of top management and reporting directly to the Board of Directors makes swift decisions on our DX strategy.

  • Sharing information at the Digital Promotion Meeting, which is attended by the various divisional representatives for digital technology, advances DX projects in the company.

  • Furthermore, we hold DX roundtable discussions to apply the on-site knowledge and employee insights in various in-house digitalization policies.
